After Cambridge, Nicholas Bielby taught in India (U. of Agra), in schools and in teacher education in Bradford and in Leeds University. Retired now, he edits Pennine Platform poetry magazine when not sailing the West Coast of Scotland. He has written books on early Tudor poetry and how children learn to read, as well as publishing two collections of poetry. He has won prizes in several competitions including New Poetry and Arvon International. As he grows older, his life focuses more and more on his three granddaughters.

Kristy Bowen’s work has appeared in a number of publications, including Small Spiral Notebook, Stirring, and Poems Niederngasse. She is the author of two chapbooks, Bloody Mary and The Archaeologist’s Daughter, and a variety of hypertext projects. A two-time Pushcart nominee, Bowen was recently awarded first place in The Poetry Center of Chicago’s 10th Annual Juried Reading Competition. She lives in Chicago, where she edits the online journal Wicked Alice, and is the founder of Dancing Girl Press, devoted to publishing work by women poets. Jesse Lee Kercheval was born in France and raised in Florida. Her second poetry book, Dog Angel, has just been published the University of Pittsburgh Press. Her poetry appears in recent issues of such magazines as Poetry London, London Magazine, Poetry Wales, Poetry Ireland Review, Poetry New Zealand, Prairie Schooner, Field, and the Virginia Quarterly Review among others.

Peter Krok is the editor of the Schuylkill Valley Journal and Humanities/Poetry director of the Manayunk Art Center and he has been coordinating a poetry series at the center since 1990. Poems of his have appeared in the Yearbook of American Poetry, Midwest Quarterly, Poet Lore, Negative Capability, Mid-America Poetry Review, Blue Unicorn, New Zoo Review, Poem, River Sedge, and numerous other publications.
