Martin Field is a freelance wine critic in Melbourne. He has written for Australian newspapers and magazines since 1978 and has taught wine courses since 1981 at commercial venues and Institutes of Technical and Further Education (TAFE). He is a Founding Member of the Wine Press Club of Victoria, a member of the Viticultural Society of Victoria and a member of the Australian Society of Wine Education.
